Sculpture chair made of polished stainless steel, it is the third in a series of workshop improvisations in this material. The first vertigos were made of white lacquered steel. At the start, a fairly simple drawing serves as a base, then in the workshop, following the drawing, the sculpture takes shape and expands, growing as it is made. It is a work on the duality between the functional object; chair and the artistic values of a free and ethereal form represented by this tangle of fine tubes branched out between them as if coming out of nature.
Sculpture chaise réalisée en acier inoxydable poli, c’est la troisième d’une série d’improvisations d’atelier dans ce matériau. Les premiers vertigos étaient réalisés en acier laqué blanc. Au départ, un dessin assez simple sert de base puis dans l’atelier, en suivant le dessin, la sculpture prend forme et s’étoffe, grandit au fur et à mesure de sa fabrication. C’est un travail sur la dualité entre l’objet fonctionnel ; chaise et les valeurs artistiques d’une forme libre et éthérée que représente cet enchevêtrement de fins tubes ramifiés entre eux comme sortis de la nature.
