La chaos est un design de 2015 réalisée cette fois de façon inverse. La structure est faite en acier inoxydable poli et le plateau est réalisé en acier patiné noir chocolat et vernis mat.

The chaos is a design from 2015, this time in an inverse way. The structure is made of polished stainless steel and the top is made of black chocolate patinated steel and matt varnish.

Natural raw steel patinated and stainless steel polished

London console a été créée à l’occasion du salon PAD London 2024 en octobre 2024. C’est la conjonction entre l’acier patiné noir chocolat et l’acier inoxydable poli. Les deux parties de la console sont boulonnées ensemble. Les deux parties semblent tenir par magie l’une à l’autre pour former une surface fonctionnelle bi-matière. Différentes longueurs sont possibles.

London console was created for the PAD London 2024 show in October 2024. It is the conjunction of chocolate black patinated steel and polished stainless steel. The two parts of the console are bolted together. The two parts seem to magically hold together to form a bi-material functional surface. Different lengths are possible.

London table a été créée à l’occasion du salon PAD London 2024 en octobre 2024. C’est la conjonction entre l’acier patiné noir chocolat et l’acier inoxydable poli. La partie inoxydable fait le pied. Les deux parties en acier patiné sont boulonnées à la partie centrale. Le résultat est une grande table de salon épaisse, pas très lourde, qui joue mystérieusement de son équilibre et sa stabilité. Le contraste des matières lui donne une personnalité toute particulière.

London table was created for the PAD London 2024 show in October 2024. It is the conjunction of chocolate black patinated steel and polished stainless steel. The stainless steel part is the foot. The two patinated steel parts are bolted to the central part. The result is a large, thick, not very heavy coffee table that mysteriously plays on its balance and stability. The contrast of the materials gives it a very special personality.

Oxyde coffee table ( 2024)

Acier patiné noir

Oxyde table est une improvisation contrôlée, sur base d’une maquette en mousse de polyuréthane, l’objet se construit facette par facette pour créer une masse dynamique qui semble taillée dans un bloc. Édition limitée à 8 exemplaires mais toutes improvisées, toutes différentes, des petites tables d’appoint suivront ce concept. La patine noire donne à l’objet un caractère ancien, usé, vieilli et éloigne l’aspect brillant et neuf habituellement proposé dans mes pièces.

Oxyde table is a controlled improvisation, based on a polyurethane foam model, the object is constructed facet by facet to create a dynamic mass that seems carved from a block. Limited edition of 8, but all improvised, all different, small side tables will follow this concept. The black patina gives the object an old, worn, aged character, distancing it from the shiny, new look usually found in my pieces.

Un dessin virtuose diront certains, une épreuve de force technique diront d’autres. Les deux en vérité, ce projet était dans mes carnets depuis plus d’un an, ne sachant pas le réaliser, il sommeilla… Puis la technique fit des merveilles et la console twist vit enfin le jour.

Some would say a virtuoso drawing, others would say a technical test of strength. In truth, it was both. This project had been in my notebooks for over a year, but I didn’t know how to make it, so it lay dormant… Then technology worked wonders and the Twist console finally saw the light of day.

Unique creation (2023)

Cette incroyable table est née de l’assemblée de tôles d’acier inoxydable en rebus dans l’atelier, des parties de consoles et des chutes diverses ont été réunies, triées, puis découpées mises en forme et soudées pour obtenir ce grand objet très stable et d’une finition parfaite tant en dessous qu’au dessus. C’est une pièce unique qui est donc issue d’un recyclage de métaux.

This incredible table was born from the assembly of scrap stainless steel sheets in the workshop, parts of consoles and various scraps were gathered, sorted, then cut, shaped and welded to obtain this large, very stable object. and a perfect finish both below and above. It is a unique piece which therefore comes from recycled metals.

Pièce unique

Model for a monumental sculpture project to be made in black/blue patinated steel. Ideal height: 8 meters. Inspired by Paleolithic flint, the color and shine of steel resemble the appearance of polished stone. Stylized, but not too much, this flint XIII stands proudly on the ground to remind us of the first tools of man.

Maquette pour un projet de sculpture monumentale à réaliser en acier patiné noir /bleu. Hauteur idéale : 8 mètres. Inspiré des silex du Paléolithique, la couleur et la brillance de l’acier se rapprochent de l’aspect de la pierre polie. Stylisé, mais pas trop, ce flint XIII se dresse fièrement sur le sol pour nous rappeler les premiers outils de l’homme.

Acier inoxydable poli et acier patiné noir chocolat

Cette table de salon de taille réduite a été réalisée grâce aux chutes de métal de l’atelier. Rien ne se perd et voici un plateau de forme « boomerang » qui domine une base en acier patiné qui dessine un V offrant la stabilité et la légèreté de l’ensemble.

This small-sized coffee table was made using scrap metal from the workshop. Nothing is lost and here is a « boomerang » shaped tray that dominates a weathered steel base that draws a V offering the stability and lightness of the whole.

A quick sketch of the backrest becoming an armrest and ending in a front foot, a thick comfortable seat in red linen and the Medieval was born. As in the bygone era of fine craftsmanship, this chair recalls the days of the forge, with something royal and exclusive about its high-quality finish.

Un dessin rapide du dossier devenant accoudoir et qui se termine en pied avant, une épaisse assise confortable en lin rouge et la Medieval était née. Comme à l’époque révolue du bel artisanat, ce siège nous rappelle les temps de la forge avec quelque chose de royal, d’exclusif dans sa finition de grande qualité.
